By using gentle-harbor's website and services, you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept the terms, you must not use our website or services.

2. Services

gentle-harbor offers individual language learning programs with native speakers. Our services include:

  • Personal language sessions
  • Tailored learning plans
  • Cultural contextualization
  • Continuous support and follow-up

3. Registration and application

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account information

We reserve the right to reject applications at our sole discretion.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are stated in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment must be made according to agreement before the program starts.

We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation must be made in writing to [email protected]

Refunds are made as follows:

  • More than 14 days before start: 100% refund
  • 7-14 days before start: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before start: no refund

For ongoing programs, no refund is made after the third session.

6. Use of the website

You may not:

  • Use the website for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website
  • Send malicious code or viruses
  • Copy or reproduce content without permission
  • Use the website in a way that may damage or overload it

7. Intellectual property

All content on the website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by gentle-harbor or our licensors and is protected by copyright law.

You may not use, copy, or distribute our content without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

gentle-harbor is not responsible for:

  • Indirect damages or losses
  • Loss of data or profit
  • Service interruptions
  • Actions of third parties

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

9. Program obligations

As a participant, you are expected to:

  • Participate actively in scheduled sessions
  • Prepare according to agreement
  • Respect language partners and staff
  • Cancel at least 24 hours in advance in case of absence

Missed sessions without 24 hours notice are not replaced.

10. Confidentiality

We treat all conversations and personal information confidentially according to our privacy policy.

You are also expected to respect the confidentiality of language partners and other participants.

11. Changes to services

We reserve the right to:

  • Change or discontinue services
  • Update program content
  • Change language partners if necessary

Significant changes will be communicated in advance.

12. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, pandemics, or technical disruptions.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall be resolved by Swedish courts.

14. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on the website.

Your continued use of the services after changes means you accept the new terms.
